Looking back, we can't help but be proud and overjoyed to tell you about the incredible journey that our athletes and coaches have taken over the years.

Our goal has always been to provide a safe environment for young gymnasts to develop their talents, grow happy and healthy, and become confident, successful gymnastic athletes of all ages. And boy, have we ever achieved that goal! Our program has received numerous awards and distinctions, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the entire Skylark Sports family.

In this blog, I'd like to walk you through Skylark Sports' history and the many awards we've received. We'll look at some of our most impressive achievements that will highlight the hard work and devotion that goes into our award-winning gymnastics program.

Our Remarkable Achievements That We Will Be Forever Proud Of

Skylark Sports is about more than simply gymnastics. We're about greatness, teamwork, and having fun while doing it! Our program has received numerous awards throughout the years, and we can't help but be proud of what we've done. 

Here are some of the most exciting accomplishments that are still making headlines:

Mega Club Recreational Coaching Team of the Year - 2022

It was an honour for our Mega Club recreational coaching team to be named Recreational Coaching Team of the Year! This award recognises our excellent coaches' hard efforts to motivate recreational gymnasts to realise their greatest potential while having fun. We are committed to providing a safe and inviting environment for children to learn and grow, and we couldn't be more pleased with this acknowledgement from the gymnastics community.

And just things are getting more exciting for us in 2022 at Skylark Sports, and we also bagged these prestigious medals: 

Gymnastics Victoria Acrobatic Gymnastics Junior Champion Club 

Boom! Skylark Sports has been crowned the best club in Victoria for junior acrobatic gymnastics. Our competitors pushed their tails off to get that title, and it's incredible to see their efforts pay off.

Gymnastics Australia International Levels Club of the Year (3rd place)

Yes, you read that right! We are named one of the top three gymnastics clubs in the country for international-level gymnastics by Gymnastics Australia. We came in third place, but we're #1 in our hearts!

Gymnastics Australia Intermediate Levels Club of the Year (3rd place)

What's that? We're also one of the top three gymnastics clubs in the country for intermediate levels? That's correct - Skylark Sports is killing it!

Acrobatic Gymnastics Levels Gymnasts of the Year - 2019

We're not just a team! We're a family, and our family is complete with superstars. Most of our gymnasts were named Levels Gymnasts of the Year in 2019, and we couldn't be more proud of them.

Mega Club Competitive Coaching Team of the Year - 2019 and 2018

Our instructors are the best and have the accolades to prove it. We are grateful for their help in enabling our athletes to perform amazing achievements in competitive gymnastics.

Large Club Coaching Team of the Year - 2017 

Our coaches were named the country's best major club coaching team in 2017. We knew it all along, but getting some official recognition is nice!

Acrobatic Gymnastics Contribution and Dedication Award - 2016

Our dedication to acrobatic gymnastics goes beyond medals; we genuinely like the sport and constantly seek ways to give back. That is why we were given the Contribution and Dedication Award in 2016.

Acrobatic Gymnastics Excellence Award - 2016

We don't strive for greatness - we accomplish it! In 2016, our program was recognised for its excellence in acrobatic gymnastics, and we're still flying high from that achievement.

Gymnastics Club of the Year - 2015

We're not going to lie! This one felt quite amazing. Skylark Sports was chosen Gymnastics Club of the Year in 2015, and we were over the moon. It's been a few years, but we're still grinning from ear to ear.

These awards reflect the effort, passion, and enthusiasm of our athletes, coaches, and staff. We're extremely proud of what we've accomplished and are eager to see what Skylark Sports has in store for the future.

As we look ahead to Skylark Sports' future, we are excited and grateful for all the amazing opportunities that await us. We're passionate about continuing our goal of providing our athletes with the best training and coaching possible and seeing them soar to new heights in their gymnastics careers.
