Welcome to Skylark Sports! I’m Jasmine (Jaz) Meaker, the proud founder and director of our vibrant gymnastics club dedicated to building children’s confidence through movement.

Gymnastics has been part of my life since the age of seven. It’s not just a sport to me; it’s a passion that’s guided my journey in profound ways. After earning my degree in Exercise Science, I began pursuing a PhD to explore the factors influencing children’s physical activity in depth. Halfway through, I realised my true calling lay beyond academia. I envisioned a place where my love for gymnastics and my dedication to helping children flourish could intersect beautifully.

This vision inspired me to pause my academic journey and create Skylark Sports, a community-centred gymnastics club focused on nurturing each child’s potential through dynamic, confidence-building movement experiences. Since that pivotal decision, I’ve never looked back. At Skylark Sports, every leap, flip, and tumble helps children grow stronger, both physically and emotionally, preparing them to thrive in every aspect of their lives.
